Alex Romo founded Green & Clean Landscaping Inc. in Greensboro in 2012. He grew up in Mexico, started his first business at age 9, and came to the U.S. where he spent 12 years at Costco — eight of them in management — learning how to run operations, lead crews, and put customers first without exception.
He went on to work at ValleyCrest, now BrightView, before building Green & Clean from a one-truck operation into one of the Triad’s leading commercial landscape companies. That background shaped a simple operating principle: take care of your people first, and they take care of your customers.
Today the company serves office parks, retail centers, HOAs, apartment communities, universities, and homeowners from Greensboro to Charlotte — every service performed in-house, on one contract, with a direct line to the owner.
